Search expression handling
- The search is case insensitive.
- Search terms may include _-#'(),./*.
- Note that if you enter the '*' symbol, the search will look for documentation entries containing the actual '*' symbol.
- The option Prepend and append wildcard to search terms:
- Option unchecked: search terms won't be extended
- Option checked: search terms will be extended as any character
- You can add boolean operators AND, OR and NOT to restrict your search, using braces ( { and } ) to specify the order.
- Please note that parentheses ( '(' and ')' ) may be part of certain terms in PROSITE ( e.g. 'NAD(+)' ) and can therefore not be used in grouping your search expressions.
- If terms are submitted without any boolean operator, they will be searched as adjacent words in the database.

-
