The following uncharacterized proteins have been shown to share regions of
Escherichia coli hypothetical protein rtcB.
Mycobacterium tuberculosis hypothetical protein MtCY441.01.
Caenorhabditis elegans hypothetical protein F16A11.2.
Methanococcus jannaschii hypothetical protein MJ0682.
These are proteins of about 400 to 500 amino acid residues that contains a
number of conserved regions, most of which are centered around charged
residues. As a signature pattern, we selected one of these regions, located in
the N-terminal region.
